Included: Proper collection tubes, labels, biohazard bags, requisition forms, and transport supplies

 

Steps:

1. Select the correct tube color for each ordered test.

2. Perform venipuncture or urine collection following standard protocols.

3. Label specimen with patient name, DOB, and date/time of collection.

4. Place in biohazard bag with requisition form in outer pocket.

5. Transport to lab via courier or approved shipping method.
